A graduate from the Jean Good-Clarke Style Academy, were she studied Make-up & Colour Analysis Claire Gibson is an established freelance bridal make-up artist, recently voted as within the top 3 Bridal Make-Up Artists Of The Year in Northern Ireland, by the readers of the Wedding Journal Magazine

 

Although based  in Belfast, Co Antrim,  (with a base also in Omagh) Claires services are available all over Northern Ireland. As part of Wedding Make-up service she travels to the bride on the morning of her wedding to complete her perfect Bridal Make-up Look.

Although Claire Specialises in Bridal Make-up she has a portfolio that expands throughout a range of make-up genres including, editorial, fashion, avante garde and Boudoir. It is while doing wedding make-up however that Claires talent shines through with her cheery personality, calming influence and professionalism.  She believes it is imperitve that everything runs smoothly at this emotionally charged time and provides a relaxing atmosphere for the wedding morning.

Over the years Claire has been no stranger to the insecurities and negative self image and this was her motivation for training in the first place.  In her words "I trained because I wanted to make people look good and feel good about themselves as I trained at a time when I myself had very low selfesteem".  

Throughout the years, Claire has provided thousands of brides with flawless wedding make-up and even so she still is genuinely excited to be partof a brides Big Day.  With 17 years experience she has  the ability to see each clients natural beauty and on the day of the wedding will often help to dress the bride if this is required.

Claire's work has been featured in publications such as  Ulster Tatler, Ulster Bride, Northern Ireland Wedding Journal, The Sun, Daily Mail, and Getting Married in Northern Ireland, Wedding Journal Ireland, and Northern Woman to name but a few. Her well honed skill and constantly updated training has taught her that quality is better than quantity. Even so her kit is bursting with an ecclecting tried and tested collection of products from the elite make-up brands as well as some items from brands available exclusively to make-up artist.  Some of the brands in Claires kit (that you will have heard of) are Clinque, Mac Lancome, Laura Mercier, Nars, Inglot, Dior, Chanel,  Illamasqua, Airbase to name but a few.
